Now, beepers are mainstreams in the world. Many students carry beepers to the school for some practical reasons. I don’t think that beepers should be banned in the school. Even though there are many effects for students who carry beepers to the school, there are also some advantages for students who carry beepers to school.
Beepers are useful for the students because the parents want to be able to reach their children easily in an emergency. Also, some parents don’t speak any English and they can’t call to the school office to find their children. Therefore, they can just beep their children’s beeper immediately instead of bothering other people. To avoid classroom interruptions, students can simply set their papers on vibrating mode. I think nobody will call the students in class without any emergency. So, we don’t have to worry about the beepers that make noise in the class or affect the student’s patience. In addition, students can look up the time from the beeper if they don’t have a watch.
I am not really against carrying the beepers to school because of the reasons that I mentioned above. But, it doesn’t mean that everybody should carry the beeper to the school. I think if the students who are really paying attention in class, they will not care about beepers. Therefore, I don’t think beepers should be banned and we don’t have to worry about the students who pay attention and bring the beepers to school, because their ink is not according to the beepers.
